About KAL Sound

KAL Sound is the one-stop destination for sound design and audio production fueled by Kyle Lampe. Kyle is a Boston-based sound designer, composer, and engineer. With 10 years of audio experience, he has a passion for music and approaches everything with a sense of storytelling and expert audio engineering.

After graduating from UMass: Amherst with two degrees: one in Theatre and one in Film, Kyle apprenticed at the Huntington Theatre Company. From there, he decided he wanted to pursue audio and experience every facet of audio production. This includes achieving a certificate in Audio Production from the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts. From theatre and film, to live events, to music production he can provide any audio service that can be needed.

Past and current collaborators have included Flat Earth Theatre, Hub Theatre Company, and the Coolidge Corner Theatre. He has engineered for the Huntington Theatre Company, ArtsEmerson, and The Record Co.
